The Past, Present, and Future: Work-cation 2022
While everyone is taking their summer vacation we are in the thick of wedding season. We wouldn't have it any other way! So once things slow down before the holiday rush amps up, we took a little work-cation with our team. The weekend was filled with so many laughs, stories, and brainstorming sessions. From our favorite wedding memories of the year to the must-have tips we talked about it all.
We thought we would share with you some of our takeaways from the 2022 work-cation!
We asked each of our team members if they could only share one tip with couples for the rest of their life, what would it be?
Lauren said, “Don’t go into debt to have the perfect wedding. There are ways to get you exactly what you want, you just have to be patient.”
Our goal is to give you your dream wedding within your budget. Our planning clients sit down with us to create a budget. From here we help you allocate the proper amounts to each area based on your priorities. Budgeting is one of the most important aspects of wedding planning to ensure you have a wonderful and exciting wedding planning experience.
Caitlyn said, “Hire a wedding coordinator.”
This lady kills it every time! We want to take the stress off of you so that you can enjoy your day completely. Your focus is staying present in the moment, let us handle all of the details!
Abby encouraged, “Invest in a photographer.”
Coming from our social media guru, Abby is spot on. So much of a wedding is an experience. Having the right person to capture that experience to look back on the rest of your lives is so important!
Nicoletta recommends, “Build in time to be alone together throughout the day.”
This is your wedding day! You only get to start your new life together one time, make sure you spend your wedding together. People are going to try to pull you in different directions. We always give our couples a few moments throughout the day to just be together.
Every wedding is special and unique. We take something amazing from each wedding but some moments hold a special place in our hearts. These are our favorite moments from this year
Lauren’s Favorite Wedding Moment: Roxy and Scott’s vows. Very few vows have made us cry that much.
Caitlyn’s Favorite Wedding Moment: Driving Katie and Kent from the first look to the ceremony. You could just feel how much they loved each other being in the car with them.
Abby’s Favorite Wedding Moment: Being with Dacey and Nason while they took pictures.
Nicoletta’s Favorite Wedding Moment: Roxy and Scott’s vows. Hearing them you would think they wrote their vows together, it shows how they are meant for each other.
We enjoyed reminiscing our favorite moments, the people we met, and the love saw firsthand. We are even more excited for the 2023 wedding season as we have so many great things coming up. Here are our favorite Work-cation moments.
