Cleveland Was Made For Weddings

Happy Wednesday! This past Saturday we had a gorgeous wedding at The Arcade in Cleveland (pictures to come). Being in the wonderful city of Cleveland inspired this week’s blog post. We do a lot of barn weddings and don’t get us wrong, we LOVE a good barn wedding, but we also know that they are not for everyone. This week we are going to focus on why having a wedding in Cleveland, or another big city, is a great way to celebrate your love.

Here are the reasons we think you should get married in Downtown Cleveland:

  1. Location! Downtown Cleveland has endless opportunities. From the different hotels to the restaurants you can give people a weekend experience. This works whether they are from out of state or close to Cleveland! The rehearsal dinner can be at a local restaurant and then your group can attend a local sports game. If sports is not your thing, there are plenty of bars to visit in The Flats, including Welcome To The Farm, a new country bar. Additionally, from Museums to popular landmarks there are tons for guests to do during the day as well!

  2. The second reason we recommend getting married in Cleveland is the Photo Ops! Downtown has amazing architecture which makes for stunning photos in addition to the city itself. Since everything is in close proximity you can do many different types of photos with ease. There is time to visit the lake, rooftops, and other locations within the times allotted with little travel.

  3. Finally, Cleveland is great for couples with younger crowds! After your reception ends you can have an after party at a bar or bar hop with your guests. How fun would it be to bar hop in your wedding dress? Keep the night going, you only get to wear the dress once, let everyone see your rock it!

The city is not for everyone, ultimately choose a venue, and city, that fits your personality as a couple. We just ask that you give Cleveland a chance!
